Compare commit times on SGI

We compare the time it takes to commit 350'000 objects under identical circumstances, committing after 10000 or 20000 objects. The behaviour is as expected: the commit time is almost not affected by this change.
The commit time changes if we do not commit often enough. If we only commit after all 350'000 objects have been loaded,
the commit time is over 2 hours.

Commit time chart

As the chart shows, the commit time/object seems quite constant. The fluctuations may be due to the number of containers or databases that have been touched. The scale of the fluctuations is small. See the comparison to the ALPHA commit times.
