GALEX-SDSS photometric redshifts: Predicted type fractions compared to SDSS TYPE classification

We compare here the SDSS classification (type = 3: extended objects; type = 6: point-like objects) and the Chi2 classification .
Zphot types for type = 6 SDSS objects (NUV) Zphot types for type = 3 SDSS objects (NUV)
Zphot types for type = 6 SDSS objects (FUV) Zphot types for type = 3 SDSS objects (FUV)

Top plots represent NUV selection, bottom ones, FUV. Right plots shows SDSS type=6 objects, and left ones SDSS type=3. The agreement between the chi2 classification and the SDSS classification is quite good , except for FUV SDSS type = 6 sources. In the latter case, the fraction of Photoz stars decreases down to 40% at FUV = 22.
